What we do
The primary objective of the Booster Club is to support De Pere Basketball at all age levels. This includes such items as:
- Securing and scheduling gym time for our youth program teams
- Youth nights
- Senior night
- Alumni night
- Skills clinics
- Annual basketball kickoff event and food drive
- Providing basketballs to the middle and elementary schools
- Coordinating tournaments, leagues and clinics
- Bus upgrades for away games
- Funding for high school tournament entry fees and hotels in the summer
- Team meals
- Fees for summer leagues for Freshman, JV and Varsity teams
- Subsidizing team spirit wear
- Investing in capital projects including the new scoreboards, video board, scorers table, chairs, lighting and sound system in the high school gym
- Supporting other De Pere programs such as High School Grad Bash, Foxview Keep Kids Moving Campaign and Project Redbird
- Basketball related communications
- Website maintenance
- Providing clinics for youth coaches
- Fundraising to offset ongoing expenses of the high school and youth programs
- Apparel Sales
- Concessions
- Golf Outing / Dinner
- Golden Ticket Raffle
